Brevities

Stalker, Author, and anti- Palin book pusher, Joe McGinniss has to tell off the people who comment on his site for their insane conspiracy theories about Palin. These people are sick in the head.

It is instructive to compare the commentators on the the Palin support site Conservatives4Palin whose comments are, in the main, the product of  happy minds. They, the comments are, mostly, forward looking, bright and bubbly and of course, from time to time, intensely partisan.

What they are not, is vicious, conspiratorial, seething with hatred, disgusting and full of lies as is found on such sites as McGinniss's, Daily Kos, Wonkette, Gawker, Palingates and etc. There is a reason for this madness as I set out AT THIS LINK.

Good Writers Gone Bad.

The poll blog, Fivethirtyeight.com. now part of the ultra-liberal New York Times built up a reputation for in-depth polling analysis, so much so that the author, Nate Silver, was hired by the NYT.

The blog was another product of the Bush years hate from the left, like Daily Kos for example, which is of course running out of steam, now that the object of their affection, or affectation, as the case may be, is dropping in the polls.

I noticed also, that even when the 2010 debacle for the Dem's was obvious to even Blind Bill, the blog found all sorts of hedging and wouldn't absolutely commit to declaring the extent of the GOP landslide which everyone saw was coming. Not a good look for a blog which sets itself up as the oracle.

Perhaps also, because everything about the GOP race is of course rampant speculation so there  is really nothing of substance to write about for the crystal ball gazer fivethirtyeight.com has hit the absolute nadir with the most ridiculous speculative column-it is, literally, balls-although nice colored ones of all shapes and sizes.
AT THIS LINK must be a total embarrassment to Gallup and other serious pollsters.

H/t The Other McCain-Stacy McCain

And another thanks to Stacy McCain for his analysis of Paul Ryan announcing he will not be a candidate.

This leads to a question with no prize for guessing the answer.

WHAT DID THESE REPUBLICANS, WHO WERE ALL MSM SPECULATED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT, DO WHILST SARAH PALIN WATCHED AND WAITED?

(Hint; This is the approximate order)
