An Early Xmas.Gary Johnson/David Frum To "Leave" GOP? Good Riddance

I put "leave" in the blog title in quotation marks because there is considerable doubt whether these to gentlemen were ever in the Republican party. Certainly they are, clearly, RINO's of the highest order.

Gary Johnson's quixotic tilt at the presidential nomination is, by his own seeming admission, over-if it ever began of course. As a younger version of libertarian Ron Paul, drug use approval and all, Johnson is throwing his toys out of the cradle, now that even he can see he has no chance.

Of course it is not his fault-the GOP has apparently abandoned him- at this link

"I feel abandoned by the Republican Party," Johnson said in a phone interview. "The Republican Party has left me by the wayside."

and what naturally follows this "abandonment" is;

"But in an interview Wednesday, he said he's seriously considering running for the Libertarian Party nomination for president."

Thus on to RINO #2. David Frum.

If the GOP doesn't nominate RINO's 3# and #4 Romney or Huntsman Frum will also throw his toys out of the bassinet according to Hot Air at this link;

"I might have to leave the party if it nominates someone other than Romney or Huntsman"

For those interested in the opinion's of possibly soon to be ex-GOP members who never were, in the first place, Frum is linked here

It is one thing to sit on ones hands, or write in a candidate other than the one the party nominates, after all this is a democracy and we are not robots. But it is quite something else to advise that if you don't get the position you want, or that if the party nominates someone you don't like, you will leave it. Whatever happened to working within the big tent?

The Libertarians are welcome to Johnson-what will he do if they also abandon him and he doesn't get their nomination by the way? Whichever party Frum looks at joining, if he leaves (please do) is most welcome to him, and what a surprise it will be if he votes for Obama (not).

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

N.B. Someone has commented on my remark about the March of the Rino's.

"the march music is Bolero"

Which is good thinking but to my mind too slow. The appropriate music for the march of the RINO's would be "Yakkity Sax" to the Benny Hill imagery.
