TV News Video; Palin In Iowa With Major Donor.Start Of 2016 Campaign?

After meeting with Nebraska candidate for the U.S. Senate Deb Fischer, (article and pictures
AT THIS LINK) whom Palin was instrumental in her getting over the finish line in a come from behind victory, Sarah Palin arrived, with no previous publicity, at a special meeting with a major GOP fundraiser and 1000 locals. This time last year Palin was at the Iowa State Fair where speculation was rampant that her visit signalled a possible run for president.

It might be fairly speculated that Palin 's visit to Iowa may be the first step in a 2016 run should Mitt Romney not win in November. Given Palin's impeccable credentials as far as appeal to the strong evangelical Christian base in Iowa and her possible toe in the water meeting with movers and shakers today Palin would be considered a strong candidate in Iowa for the opening primary in 2016

Sarah Palin visits Bruce Rastetter party in

Hubbard

HUBBARD, Ia. – Sarah Palin is in Iowa tonight, attending agribusiness leader Bruce Rastetter’s summer party at his home in Hubbard in north-central Iowa.
The invitation for the event promises music, the presentation of a philanthropy award and “special guests” but doesn’t mention Palin, the darling of many conservatives, especially in the tea party, after her 2008 vice presidential run and subsequent media and political stardom.

Rastetter is a prominent donor to Republican causes, a lead backer of Iowa ethanol ventures and a member of the Board of Regents. He has been criticized recently for his role in a development project in Tanzania that once involved Iowa State University, which Rastetter oversees as a regent.
Palin told Fox News on Wednesday that she planned to visit Iowa soon, although she didn’t share details.
Palin hasn’t made a formal appearance in Iowa since a September rally in Indianola.
