Breaking: Palin Vaults Into Lead In New PPP Poll

PPP Polling (D) shows Sarah Palin is now the front runner for the GOP nomination-tied with Romney at 16% amongst Republican voters.

This would be the first time that Palin has led the pack nationwide in PPP's polling and reflects the lift in her status as the voters are coming to accept she may indeed be a candidate.

"PPP's first national poll looking at the Republican Presidential race since Mike Huckabee and Donald Trump announced they wouldn't run finds Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin in a tie at the top with 16% each. Tim Pawlenty at 13% and Herman Cain at 12% are also in double digits with Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul each at 9%, and Jon Huntsman at 4% rounding out the field."

It  would be expected that as her nationwide trip gets further positive coverage and she is seen ,as will happen in New Hampshire, talking to party officials her running will be taken for granted and will bring a further poll rise.
