Surely there is a law against this incitement to murder? If anything of this sort was publicly stated against President Obama or any leading Democrat the Twitter account would be closed and the FBI would investigate. But since it is a conservative woman than anything goes. What a sick leftist society.

Romney's Silence Speaks More About Him And The GOP Establishment Than Anything He Has Ever Said
Inauguration Day has passed, and it is coming up to three months since the election. In all that time nothing has been heard from the GOP Establishments candidate Mitt Romney.
For better or worse, traditionally the losing presidential candidate has had, if not in a position of having a legislative capacity like e.g. John McCain, a moral or leadership position as "titular head" of the party. From Mitt Romney there has been nothing.
The GOP rank and file, and the blogosphere on the right is, rightly, in a funk. Not only did the party lose what could have been a winnable election, but the left has been particularly vicious in its crowing.
What makes this loss particularly painful, is that all those Republicans who held their noses and voted for Romney have been thrown under the Establishments bus in a most disdainful manner.
Romney by his silence when, if he was really the leader he set himself up as, he has had ample opportunity to address major issues, is an insult. The fiscal cliff situation, for example, could have been addressed and he could have to have tried to lift the spirits of the rank and file with leadership and fighting talk.
But of Romney the only thing known is that he is in balmy climes and has taken a major role in the Marriott hotel chain.
There is nothing further that can be said about this man whose disdain for the common man is made manifest by his utter desertion of them.
It would have been far better if, as I did (my New York vote didn't matter and I voted down-ticket), instead of holding their collective noses and voting for Romney, who did his best to negate that voting support by running an appalling campaign, millions of rank and file Republicans had stayed home.
Those non-voters, added to those who did stay home (which was in the millions) would have led to a massive defeat for the GOP Establishment (whose candidate of course lost anyway).
If that had happened the total rejection of the Republican leadership would have shown that a line in the sand had been drawn and that, never again, could a "moderate electable centrist" be foisted on the party.
Thus in the next presidential election the Establishment wing would have had to stand aside. Then, even if there were a multiplicity of candidates, they would be from the right and the terrible factional campaign which allowed Romney to win plurality after plurality would not happen again.
If in 2012 there had been a voters strike, the Establishment would have got the message that if, by fixing the conventions rule in their favor, or creating another factional split, they succeeded in foisting another Romney they would, again, go down to a massive defeat and probably take the congressional candidates with them.
Further, a voters strike would have stiffened the backbone of Boehner, and the current congressional team as they, if they had any sense, would have seen the 2014 writing on the wall.
Nothing compliments Romney more than his welcome departure and his only legacy will be "never again". And hopefully, if the rise of a third party is not on the establishments agenda, a genuine conservative candidate next time.

George Orwell;"If I Were To Make A list Of 6 Books To Be Preserved When All Others Were Destroyed I Would Include This One"
All human life is in Jonathan Swift's immortal 'Gulliver's Travels'. Not the abridged, illustrated version for children of course but the final, full version, without the omissions and changes done to avoid the censors (and jail) when first published in 1726
Like Orwell I have read and reread, and read the book again and again, and each time I read it, I find something new in the satire, wisdom, uncanny predictions (Swift could fairly be said to have invented science fiction), rank misogyny, and the multitudinous other wonderful aspects of this glorious work.
I prefer the Oxford University Press 1971 edition edited by Paul Turner. This is substantially annotated and includes the original introductions which in themselves a clever satires.
Swift flays and thrashes all aspects of human foibles, vanities, expediences, and political shenanigans. He satirizes travellers tales with his biggest whopper of travellers tales. Kings and commoners all get a roasting, but the flames are gently applied, and what could have simply been an harsh polemic is, in the end, a wry ribbing of humankind.
The satirizing of the Royal Society (thinly disguised as "The Grand Academy of Lagado") is beyond marvellous and, and here is the beyond genius of Swift on display, amongst the slapstick satire a comment of incredible prescience is made, which makes one wonder if Swift had available the golden prophecy bowl prophecy of Nostradamus.
Look at this comment made around two hundred years before Einstein did indeed supersede the Newtonian view of the universe;
"[he] predicted the same fate (i.e. it being superseded) to Attraction ( i.e. Newton's theory of gravitation) whereof the present learned are such zealous asserters.
He (Aristotle) said that new systems of nature
were but new fashions which would vary in every age; and even those who pretend to demonstrate them from mathematical principles ( i.e. Newton's 'principia mathematica' ) would flourish but a short period of time and be out of vogue when that was determined"
It takes only a little imagination to clearly see Swift envisaging a computer, and "flying Island" space flight in another passage in the Royal Society satire section, in the "A Voyage to Laputa" chapter.
The Travels are one of those great joys of life, which not only reward in the reading of it, but gives one a special pleasure in having the honor of having shared the planet with someone of such astonishing and transcendent genius.

Romney Getting Only 38% On "Super Tuesday" Yet Winning Nomination Shows GOP Must Coalesce Around One Or Two Conservatives In 2016
UPDATE:
R.S. McCain (At "The Other McCain") gets it 100% right:
**********************************************************************
Without getting into too much detail as to how various state delegations subsequently changed their candidate preferences, the key point arising from these primary result tables is obvious. In primary after primary Mitt Romney won with a plurality.Of the 38 primary voting areas Romney achieved over 50% of the vote in only 10, with 5/10 coming at the end of the process when he was the obvious winner.
In the 'Super Tuesday" group of states Romney received only 38% of the vote with Gingrich and Santorum totalling 50%, there would be little doubt that if there had been one, or two major candidate/s opposing Romney he would not have come to the convention as the candidate.
If the right had settled on one candidate early on, and voted accordingly, then Romney would not have been the nominee. It would have been wrong, given so many were interested in running to, as some are calling for now, ask that only one candidate goes forward in the early stages as the voters needed to hear the various candidates positions and see their mettle.
However, once it became obvious that some just couldn't cut it e.g Huntsman and Bachman then pressure should have come on those who garnered low voting levels to pull out and support those who had a better chance.
If that had happened the the continuous three or four candidate split on the right would not have happened and, at least, there would have been a brokered or free delegate chosen candidate who better represented the wishes of the rank and file.
The GOP structural team recognise also the faultiness of having a too early delegate scramble as it assists the Dem's in "defining" negatively of course the eventual Republican standard bearer whilst showing fissures in the ranks. Palin alluded to this when she stated exactly that criticism of the GOP's 2012 campaign.
In 2016 then the right should find a mechanism of coalescing around one or two candidates. If there are a multiplicity of good conservative possibilities some sort of pre-primary mechanism must be found to limit the number campaigning including perhaps some sort of structural mechanism.
The primary campaign should kick off as near the the convention as is possible and should be a campaign of ideas not personalities.
If the Dem's don't have a front runner then the GOP should,as the Dem's did to them in 2012 spend freely and pointedly in defining the negative attributes of their candidates-especially the front runners.

R.S. McCain (At "The Other McCain") gets it 100% right:
Look at the exit polls: In Ohio, Romney got only 81% of the conservative vote, while Obama got 88% of the liberal vote. Thirty-five percent of Ohio voters called themselves conservative, as compared to 22% who identified as liberal. If Romney had gotten a larger share of the conservative vote, he would have won Ohio. Now, here are the truly frightening numbers: Obama got 44% of the Catholic vote in Ohio, and 29% of the evangelical (or “born again”) Protestant vote.
Is Jonah Goldberg willing to admit what seems obvious to me, namely that nominating a moderate Mormon contributed to the weakening of GOP support among conservative Christians? Isn’t it possible that an adamantly pro-life Catholic would have done better?

The Most Mad Bizarre Website Of All Time (And As Expected It's An Anti-Palin Site)
From time to time I stop over to see what the inmates, terminally insane, and clearly syphilitic at "Immoral Minority" (sic) are saying in their weird Anti-Palin world. And they never disappoint.
The site's owner, one "Gryphen" (exposed by R.S. McCain) tosses them some Palin red meat, and like mad dogs, they rip and tear the Palin of their fevered imagination to shreds. These people are genuinely bonkers-they actually believe that Palin has a number of "copies" of Trig (Heaven only knows why) which only they know about, and can distinguish by their, the Trig's "ruffled ears". Apparently some of these copies are surplus and, I swear I saw this, "Todd Palin buried the surplus Trig's under a concrete slab in his air plane hangar"
You can see a selection of their mad comments (which are pretty much the same as on any given day)- where they are awaiting "the iceberg" which has been coming for four years now, to see Palin led off to jail
However as weird as these benighted folk are, they are put in the shade by a link on their site to a site under the heading "Sites that Palin hates" (as if she is even aware of such trash) previously called "The Peril's of Palin" and now called "Peril's of Plastic" is run by a very strange woman indeed. This person, an atheist naturally, created tableau's with plastic dolls which illustrated her anti-Palin peeve of the moment which were beyond bizarre.
Here is an example ( which must be seen to be believed.)
However, with Palin not currently a candidate (although still worthy of a bilious mention) the loon has moved from the earthly bizarre, to some alternative universe bizarre. The heading for her site gives some indication of what is to follow;
What adult (physical not mental) would set up a massive tableau of plastic dolls baring the backsides? But her major effort is of a mass party for a Super Bowl game, which looks suspiciously like an orgy frankly-she calls it a "wild rumpus". It would be ever man's dream, I would imagine, to have such topless full busted young ladies in situ (but that's my fantasy which I would venture is a bit more normal than hers).
Here are just two images-the rest have to be seen to be believed and are a window into Palin Derangement Syndrome.
