Ann Coulter Doesn't Want Congressman/Senator/Inspirational Leader"For 2016. Betting Site Has The Nominee Here

Here's a comment from the "Conservatives4Palin" website regarding Ann Coulter's views, in an interview on Fox, on the 2016 presidential election and specifically what sort of person should not be the candidate for the GOP.

"Coulter's absolutely incoherent. She insists (on Hannity) that conservatism always wins but doesn't want RINO's primaried. She just WON'T back off Mitten being the greatest candidate ever and, with a broken heart, has to back away from Christie over Amnesty and only Amnesty.

Took two potshots at Sarah--1 that "We have to understand that our next candidate isn't going to be a congressman, senator or inspirational leader" (the last was aimed at Sarah) and considers O'Donnell the only takeaway from 10."

Now if we look at the list of potential candidates being touted at the major betting site "Paddy Power" (and remember this is real people putting their own money down, not just blog opinion) Coulter's comments makes for a fascinating exegesis.

If we follow Coulter's advice we can eliminate Congressmen Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor and Michele Bachmann for a start. Schwarzenegger is definitely not a natural American citizen so he goes too. The following senator's are out; Rubio/Paul/Cruz/Portman.

Retiree Ron Paul is out of politics and it can be safely assumed that retiring Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell is also out. Newt Gingrich has been put on Coulter's "not looking out for the future of the GOP" list (along with Akin, Liz Cheney and Mark Sanford) so he is out.

By "inspirational leader" one can also safely assume Coulter would include Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee.
Whatever category they may be put in one is safe to advise that Jon Huntsman  Michael Bloomberg, David Petraeus (scandal) and Condoleeza Rice (Bush wars) have zero chance of being the nominee.

On the not-eliminated but lightening would have to strike list are, surely, Rick Santorum, Donald Trump and her pick for 2012 Mitt Romney.

So, lacking a suitable armed forces officer and secretary of state, it appears that a governor is required to suit Coulter's advice. Who might that be?  Not Chris Christie for a start-he is on Coulter's proscribed list (after being her first choice originally for 2012). Thus these appear to be suitable (with her 2012 VP pick now former Arizona senator Jon Kyl as running mate);

Bobby Jindal
Scott Walker
Susana Martinez

One name is missing so far and that is Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and with his name added,
to my reading of Coulter's comments, the GOP could do far worse than to choose amongst them-and even better if Governor Palin was added to the final list.

Palin-ite Republican Party Is A Progressive Party of Women Blacks & Hispanic's-Is GOP Split Inevitable?

George Will advises that the "Republican party has diversity" (Video/transcript LINK). What Will was referring to by "diversity" is diversity of thought "what liberals are supposed to admire... but don't, diversity in thought". Will then brought up previous splits in the GOP-Roosevelt/Taft and Goldwater/Rockefeller to illustrate  his point.

His point, as far as it goes, is totally valid and whether this ideological split plays out like Roosevelt's, with the creation of a third party or like Goldwater's which, over time shifts the ideological ground to the right remains to be seen. However, there is a diversity which Will did not refer to, and that is one that tilts the future more likely towards the Roosevelt scenario.

The Conservative Republican Party which if a complete fracture occurs might be better called, as Governor Palin suggested, the "Freedom Party" is a party divorced from the image of the Establishment GOP. It is the party of inclusion of Hispanics-an undeniable fact with highly prominent conservatives including Governor Martinez and Senators Cruz and Rubio.

The Conservative Republican Party is the party of women- no "war on women" jibe is possible  towards the party of Palin, Bachmann Ayotte and a host of other women prominent in their leadership of the party in county, state, congressional, organizational and so many other aspects of public life. Further diversity and a woman's voice is of course seen with Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina whose Asian Indian voice is added to that of Governor Jindal's

The Conservative Republican Party is the home of a wealth of talent from vibrant new voices, notably many of them being female, from the Black community.
The Twitterverse/Blogosphere is awash with with the voices and thoughts from such as Adrienne Ross, "The Black Republican" (which links to Black conservative thought) and so many others. The only Black Senator is the conservative Republican Tim Scott with recent Congressman Allen West another, amongst many like Dr.Ben Carson, outspoken Black conservative voices.

The various elements amongst the Teddy Roosevelt supporters in the Republican party of 1912 that broke away from the staid Establishment forces of President Taft and created the Progressive (or "Bull Moose") Party also represented a huge diversity of ideas and peoples. Times, people and ideas are of course different today, but  there is no getting away from the fact that the basic premise, then and now, of a diverse, progressive it its own way conservatism at breaking point with an Establishment Republicanism (that has lost two elections in a row in the modern version) is very real.

If the GOP can remain a "big tent' with the progressive and Establishment elements holding together for 2016, with as I have suggested  at The American Thinker LINK a ticket that has, for example a Palin-Bush  combination, then with its tremendous diversity including, ethnicity and gender (andprominent Gay/lesbian voices) the stage is set for such a revised, mass appeal structure to win big against an out of date Democratic party. If a split does occur that need be no barrier to a truly conservative party winning in the Electoral College as I set out previously LINK if not in a few further elections once the split has bedded in. Whatever hapens the leftist charge that the conservatives represnt " rich old white men" is utterly destroyed, and in fact was so when Governor Palin was nominated for vice-president in 2008.

Radical Left Stewart/Schoenkopf Call Out Media-Say "Ratchet It Down" Now Tea Party Not Implemented In Violence

No doubt much to their despair leftists have seen violent incident after violent incidence come and go without any direct connection to the Tea Party or rightist groups-at all.

Every time there has been a mass shooting, or an incidence of violence committed by an individual, the likes of Daily Kos and the commentators at Wonkette and a multitude of leftist radical sites immediately blame "right wing extremists."

Without of course knowing any of the details of who actually caused the violence and when it turns out there are no "right wing extremists" involved they shut up until the next opportunity to dwell in their alternate reality of hate.

Lets look at the high profile cases;

Gabby Gifford's shot-Kos Moulitsas of the "progressive "Daily Kos" site Tweets "mission accomplished Sarah Palin." mass shootings in Denver, a Connecticut school, an army base, a naval base, a bombing in Boston and now a car incident in DC.

In every case the leftist blogs and in many cases the main stream media all jumped right in and either directly accused the right of being involved or intimated that "such events bear the hallmark of right wing extremists."

The facts are that in every single case there was absolutely no involvement of rightists of any shape or form. The latest incident in Washington involved a Black women in an expensive car and didn't even involve a gun-much to the chagrin of the left who were thwarted in not being able to attack the NRA/"racists."

The left, as they have to in the face of the clear facts, have now started on a new tack-once they have finished the initial knee-jerk reactions and Tea Party blame. They advise that all incidents are the result of a failed mental health system-failed because of Republican stinginess when it comes to government support of institutions etc. That the Fort Hood and Boston massacres were caused by Muslim extremists, and are not "mental health issues" seems to have utterly escaped them.

Faced with the utter loss of any shred of credibility they may have had the left is now "eating their own." Jon Stewart has mounted a devastating attack on the MSM-especially CNN for their utter incompetence, rumor spreading and spreading disinformation. A site notorious for its attacks on conservatives, Wonkette has had its editor call for an end to such responses by its readers "ratchet it down" (after calling Rand Paul's attempt at national unity a "dumb bipartisan" act) when tragic incidents take place.

All well and good, but could anyone imagine for one second that such media criticism, such call for restraint, would have been issued if the catalogue of violence had actually been caused by Tea Party adherents? Not a snowballs chance in hell. If even one of the above disasters had been perpetrated by a conservative the left, and their main stream media outlets would, in concert, be baying for blood.

The left is the repository of of hate, distortion and with their calls for civility and clarity, the repository of utter hypocrisy.

Pelosi has Given Both President Obama And Speaker Boehner a Face-Saving Out From Shutdown Impasse

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has made it possible, if they choose to take advantage of it, for both President Obama and Speaker Boehner to, tomorrow, close down the close down.

Pelosi led 163 other House Democrat's in voting against the following motion, for which a two thirds majority was required, and for which the lack of which majority the bill failed.

H J RES 72 2/3 YEA-AND-NAY 1-Oct-2013 7:44 PM
QUESTION: On Motion to Suspend the Rules and Pass
BILL TITLE: Making continuing appropriations for veterans benefits for fiscal year 2014, and for other purposes.

It is indefensible of course to deny veterans their benefits. If anything needs to be funded it is the well being and dignity of those who served in uniform and fought for the defense of liberty. To see the sorry spectacle of veterans having to "invade" a memorial to their valor would be damaging enough for the Democrats but surely removing vet's financial support is ludicrously self-defeating and the very image of heartlessness.

Not that the left hasn't tried to, somehow, spin this madness. the resolutely Obama supporting David Weigel at Slate has tried to find solace "It's a gambit" in the fact that 33 Democrat's voted to support the veterans seeing that minority as somehow removing the charge that "Dem's hate vet's". The fact that the Pelosi led majority of Democrat's seem to do exactly that seems to have escaped him-but again, even he could surely see how lame his spin is and is just going through the motions.

It would seem to most rational people, surely, that Pelosi and her 163 strong cohort don't want to commit political suicide by denying  "the greatest generstion' solace and food in their old age. There must be a sensible reason why the Democrats voted as they did which must surely shift the balance of opinion towards the Republicans as the sane and sensible partner in this political dance macabre.

To use Weigel's term there must be a "gambit' underlying the seeming madness. All I can think of as a possible 'eleventh dimension chess move" as the left is so fond of describing what they see as President Obama's craftiness is that Pelosi's vote is so wrong that it gives President Obama the opportunity to step in and announce that "for the sake of those who served America without thought of self I too am reversing my adamant stand against negotiating" or some other example of the lofty hyperbole he is so adept at.

Then Speaker Boehner can also say that the needs of our veterans come before any dogma and etc etc". All that would remain is for the president and the speaker to meet in some staged "beer summit" and work out some mutually face saving postponement of some or all aspects of Obamacare-perhaps "the initial  parts which appear to be causing some glitches" or some such formula.

If they were really clever they could also address the debt ceiling but perhaps that is a bridge too far at this point.

Pelosi has handed both men a tool as possibly as fortuitous as the one given to President Obama by Kerry's "offhand" remarks about Syria. We will see if sane minds grasp this one too if it happens. Perhaps Sarah Palin can play the "Putin' in this drama which would round things out wonderfully.

A Comment From An Objector To This Site

Here is a comment from a person who objects to this site's premise and especially my article on "The Immoral Minority" anti-Palin site. I reproduce it sans any remarks of my own as it speaks for itself.

M.JOSEPH SHEPPARD’S "A POINT OF VIEW": Idiot "Gryphen" At Immoral Minority Gets All Confused About Government-Again.
I always laugh at people like you.....denouncing anyone who goes against the palins....I am formerly of Wasilla, and know sarah. Sarah is a compulsive liar, who only liked being governor for the perks and celebrityhood. For your information....she did not give birth to Trig, nor did she receive a 4 yr college degree. She had affairs, she used drugs and religion to get her back on the good side of those she offended. She is a sociopath, a user, and thrives on attention. She uses people for her money....and if you had any credibility, you would seriously look at what she does with her PAC money. After that, take a good look at Todd, a known pimp, who arranged "dates" for oilmen, police, government officials, and sarah's secret service agent during 2008, was later arrested in South America, frequenting prostitutes, and not paying their fees which is what got them busted. Sarah knows this....and neither has responded to even suing his former prostitute, who passed every lie detector test given to her....which is not their usual mode of threatening lawsuits, but never following through....they and the named "johns" ignored it as well. So before you go committing slander against immoral minority, take an investigative look at politicalgates and malia litman's work on palin as well as other journalists.....but I understand the conservative movement now....full of lies and propaganda using Machiavelli's pattern of "the end justifies the means"......please don't throw up religion....you people are the worst hypocrites and grifters I have seen .....taking money from people with your rhetoric and propaganda, to serve your greed. He should sue you for your reference to him a sexual predator....which sarah came up with that trying to get him fired after he printed a rumor that divorce might be in the air.....and if you really follow sarah....see how many times she has accused men of being sexual predators to her and her daughters.....you should see a pattern....anyone that disagrees or disapproves of her gets that similar response.
