The Horror Of Gosnell Is Too Much To Consider In One Thought-Here's My Train Of Thought As I Try To Deal With It

  1. that arg won't wash. operated openly. Everyone knew he was performing abortions.

  2. Can't shake the feeling that the Gosnell situation crossed some redline in God's cosmos. Brace for impact.

  1. AlanColmes Liberaland blames"Ianti-abortion legislators had given women more options,Gosnell wouldn't have done as much business"

  2. Obama approves of partial birth: killing an infant by cutting into the neck & sucking out the brains. What kind of man thinks that's OK?

Alan Colmes on -what a guy! "If anti-abortion legislators had given women more options,Gosnell wouldn't have done as much business"

  • Daily Kos strangely silent over Kos Moulitsas tweeted "Mission acconmplished Sarah Palin over Gifford's,but genocide-nothing to say

  • Hillary dead-ender Taylor Marsh finds way to make about pro-life supporters threat to women. Astounding.

  • Taylor Marsh finds is about conservatives esp. Cuccinelli "If extremist Ken Cuccinelli have their way, more women put in danger"

  • Sarah Palin thanks Democrat Kirsten Powers 4 bringing attention to (now trending on Twitter)

  • Weigel at Slate re: Gosnell : Maybe it's not a raw political story. It's just the story of a potential mass murderer"

  • Conservatives should publicise leftists who publicise Gosnell-even Weigel " Social conservatives are largely right about the Gosnell story".

  • Beyond political differences/his Palin hate Andrew Sullivan right on Gosnell/late term abortion: Issue above politics

  • Alan Colmes on -what a guy! "If anti-abortion legislators had given women more options,Gosnell wouldn’t have done as much business"

As a non-Catholic conservative I agree with Palin's abortion stance. Also consider "late term abortion" abomination equal to Nazism/eugenics

  • I defy an leftist to read Gosnell "late term abortion" (i.e. murder) testimony and still agree with the "practice"

  • Kirsten Powers "You don't have to oppose abortion rights to find late-term abortion abhorrent".I find it beyond abhorrent-inhuman is word.

G.W. Bush Responsible For Same Sex Marriage/Radical Left Ascendancy

    Posted from P4P16

On Tuesday November 2nd 2004, President G.W. Bush was re-elected by more than three million votes than his Democratic Party opponent John Kerry received, with Bush winning nearly 51% of the vote.

President Bush carried 31 states, and the GOP won a 30 seat majority in the House, and picked up four seats in the Senate to have an 11 seat majority 55 to 44, The Republicans also had 28 state governorships, as well as there being a conservative majority in the Supreme Court.

If there ever was a time when it could be truly said "America is a center-right country", it was on election night 2004. The GOP was seen as the party of economic stability, of a prosperous, broadly contented America, and the rock of security in the face of the radical Islam terrorist threat.

Election night 2008, just four years later, it was all gone.

Ten years to the day from the invasion of Iraq a Democrat has been elected twice with over 51% of the popular vote (the GOP actually lost Indiana!) and the Democrat's control the Senate.

The Electoral College scenario for the GOP is challenging to say the least. If Florida is lost early on election night, which is has been for the last two elections, that's it for whoever the GOP hopeful is.

This electoral turnaround, a disaster of huge magnitude, was unthinkable without the utter disaster that the invasion of Iraq turned out to be. Wrongly considered, whether in blind ignorance, or in wilful deliberate ignorance in the face of false information, the Iraq invasion, as it unravelled in death and destruction for no apparent legitimate reason, turned Americans against President Bush and his administration in droves.

People like Cheney and Powell, who were seen as leaders in a legitimate fight against terror and a regime with "weapons of mass destruction", were viewed as unlovely, arrogant, tools of people "neocons" with an agenda, and bringers of death to American servicemen and women and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi's.

This revulsion and rejection of the administration did not, in itself, lead to a rejection of America's social conservatism. Although the administrations personnel were seen as the face of social conservatism, rejection of the war did not automatically mean a rejection of the social environment.

What did happen was that the leftists who opposed the social milieu, the gays and their same sex marriage agenda, ultra-leftist demagogues like those at what till then were obscure blogging sites like "Daily Kos" and Wonkette" received massive inputs in readership and energy from the young, from radical feminists, Gays, Hollywood liberals, leftist mainstream media journalists and the like.

Given the powerful social and mainstream media platforms, assisted by an endless stream of talk show hosts, like David Letterman making anti-Bush "jokes" night after night, the conservative social agenda itself became an attack point.

By pure luck for all these groups they had, in  candidate Obama, a focal point for an "the time has come for a Black to be president" campaign which allowed their liberal agenda to be incorporated in a genuinely felt need in the body politic.

Hollywood added to this progression of the lefts social agenda by portraying the Gay/lesbian themes as "the new normal" in a wave of sitcom's and movies aimed at the young who were encouraged by Bush revulsion, and starry eyed attraction to Obama, to vote in record numbers.

So strong were the center-right leanings of Americans, that even with the disaster of the Bush war years John McCain and Sarah Palin were in the lead in the opinion polls until the full force of the economic crash hit (and McCain "suspended" his campaign) after which it was impossible for McCain, or any Republican to have won.

For social conservatives, the damage caused by the Iraq war led to a revulsion against the Obama administration's policies and social agenda, which culminated in a massive swing to the GOP in the 2010 mid-terms which brought a recovery of the House for the GOP and retention of a majority of governorships.

On the presidential level however too much blame was still sticking to the Bush administration, allied to the bully pulpit and natural inclination to let a sitting president serve another term, for the GOP to defeat President Obama. Having a weak, and poorly performing centrist like Romney, did nothing for the conservative cause either.

Is there a possibility of a return to the 2004 social environment situation? Absolutely not in an absolute sense as a number of states have legalized same-sex marriage. At this writing, the Supreme Court may indeed legitimize it for all states, at which point America will have changed forever. Most certainly the attack on the second amendment will be the next major focal point for the left at that point.

Same sex-parenting and adoption are common, abortion is legal-even the horror of partial birth abortion. If the Democrats win the presidency in 2016, then it is difficult to see what social conservatism would look like, and what battles could be fought on behalf of it.

If there is an extremely difficult economic scene in 2016, then there is a good chance for a social conservative to be elected president. It may be that a more conservative Supreme Court could then be put in place, and the GOP once again could win control of Congress.

In that case the leftist social agenda could be stopped where it is now, with only a small minority of states allowing same-sex marriage and, most importantly,  a renewed Reagan-ite conservative social consensus/ethos could once again be the norm.

America would, at that point, consider the Obama years to have been an historical anomaly caused by a disastrous Bush administration, with both the GOP and America having learned a salutary, and, hopefully, unrepeatable lesson.

It is my opinion that only a Palin led counter revolution (whether as candidate or king maker) in 2016 could be the only force capable of halting the radical left's ascendency.

Wouldn't Think It Possible But Yes, Palin Attacked For Being Part Of Terry Schiavo Catholic Event Today

Palin is well known as a sincere and devout Christian and respecter of life. In that regards she is a guest speaker today at the Terry Schiavo Foundation's memorial mass conducted by Archbishop Chaput in Philadelphia.

Who or what party/creed/religion could possibly find something to attack Palin and the event about in respect of such a solemn, dignified and significant event with so much sadness involved for Schiavo's family and friends/ Apparently one Rick Cohen is one such.

Writing at NPQ (Non Profit Quarterly) about the event Cohen has this bit of sarcasm to say:

So any event, no matter how serious and dignified is diminished and non-serious by Palin's attendance? This is insulting to the organisers, the people attending who find Palin's personal respect for life as evinced by her son Trig and her attendance at the Schiavo event inspiring. It is also a gross insult to the organisers who obviously see Palin's attendance as a positive constructive aspect of their program.

"Notwithstanding the inclusion of Palin on the agenda, there are serious issues involved behind the Network. On one hand, you have some people saying that medical advances have made possible the prognosis for people in vegetative states to regain consciousness for moments due to medications such as Zolpidem, though long-term solutions don’t seem to be in the offing. On the other, there are questions about the cost of keeping people alive in acute-care hospitals, essentially denying beds to other potential patients, as opposed to keeping them at home. Some people question whether the process of keeping patients alive in persistent vegetative states, using often-invasive measures, is actually doing violence to those people."
    . –Rick Cohen

    Cohen then reinforces his biased anti-Palin view with an absolute and emphatic commitment to denigrating her and the event with this statement.Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS) in extremis;

"Nonetheless, despite the serious and heartfelt concerns of people involved in the Schiavo case, and despite Palin’s oft-stated concern for the disabled due to the condition of her youngest child, the inclusion of Palin as the keynote speaker and a $25,000-a-session fundraising ploy seems to take away from the substantive issues that merit thoughtful discussion and debate"

This is proof positive that nothing, absolutely nothing that Sarah Palin does or says, no matter how innocuous or religious or family orientated-anything in fact- can't be attacked,

Some Covers From The Radical Social Concern Magazine I Was An Editor Of

There was a time when there were social comment magazines which managed to express the views of young social activists without the "snark" and, well just filth and personal invective that seems to be the norm today in "social media".

For some years I was on the editorial board of the "Catonsville Roadrunner". This selection of some of the covers from my time give an indication of, yes, youthful exuberance,  but also a genuine desire for positive, radical change.

All these concepts were expressed with fire, vigor and pointed humor which contrasts sharply, and sadly, with the sort of humorless  invective as seen at the likes of "Daily Kos" or childishness and "snark as seen at the likes of "Wonkette".

Welcome Wonkette Visitors. Here's The "Commie" Article

Unlike the self described "Commie Mom" with her antagonism to what she describes (below) as "bone-grinding capitalism" I have actually been to Communist China, this year, and have seen, as per this picture, the result of "care" for people under the Communist "cultural revolution."

I used to, and for the main part still do, consider "Reds under the beds" folk as being in the same orbit as the "Trig is not Palin's son" and the "9/11 was a government conspiracy" monomaniacal people. However, whilst the latter two are mad concepts, recent events have given pause for thought as regards Communist influence in the media and government.

No there is not a massive conspiracy of communists waiting to overthrow the American way of life but yes, there are people of influence who are what is termed "red diaper babies". That is, they were exposed in their formative years to Communist thinking by a close relative or associate, and that exposure is reflected in the far left or statist viewpoints they express. The danger is that because of their positions of influence this ultra-leftist viewpoint, watered down as it may be, distorts the thinking of immature minds who are exposed to the media or government outlets these people inhabit.

We are considering people who are not minor figures but who, in some cases, have significant input into government and a mass media following. This reality is important when one considers the historic influence of e.g. the British Communist Party which, although small in numbers, caused massive economic dislocation in Britain in the 1960's through its control of major trades unions. The Communist led unions caused massive disruption to British exports through a disastrous dock strike, and the British motor industry was similarly crippled by the actions of Communist shop stewards.

Thus if "red diaper babies' are in positions of influence and power, it would be a mistake not to examine their history and actions, and to consider the influence they have today in America. It is also important to look at this dispassionately and factually to avoid being tarred with a scaremonger, or conspiracy minded label, which would distract from the reality of the situation.

The redoubtable professional journalist Robert Stacy McCain did a devastating analysis of the Communist family history of presidential confidant Axelrod
AT THIS LINK. The very definition of a red diaper baby.

Obama administration special advisor Van Jones had to resign because of a double whammy of conspiratorial past history-a 9/11 Truther-and membership of an organization "with Marxist ties." Here is an excerpt from The Washington Post report:

"Jones, who joined the administration in March as special adviser for green jobs at the CEQ, had issued two public apologies in recent days, one for signing a petition in 2004 from the group 911Truth.org that questioned whether Bush administration officials "may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war" and the other for using a crude term to describe Republicans in a speech he gave before joining the administration.
His one-time involvement with the Bay Area radical group Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), which had Marxist roots, had also become an issue. And on Saturday his advocacy on behalf of death-row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of shooting a Philadelphia police officer in 1981, threatened to develop into a fresh point of controversy."

The highly respected British newspaper The Daily Telegraph ran an article (excerpt below from link at left) on what they saw as possible Communist influence on the young Barack Obama. Obama later joined, according to THIS REPORT the far left socialist "New Party" in Illinois:

"Frank Marshall Davis, alleged Communist, was early influence on Barack Obama"

New details about a black poet in Hawaii who was a key early influence in Barack Obama’s life can be revealed by The Telegraph.

Barack Obama visited Mr Davis on several occasions to get his advice when he was grappling with racial issues

"Although identified only as Frank in Mr Obama’s memoir Dreams from My Father, it has now been established that he was Frank Marshall Davis, a radical activist and journalist who had been suspected of being a member of the Communist Party in the 1950s."

    Here is another report;

    Frank Marshall Davis
    http://www.discoverthenetworks...
    Communist writer and poet (1905-1987)
Mentor to a young Barack Obama in the 1970s
Dedicated supporter of the Soviet Union and enemy of America
In the very early 1970s Davis met a young Barack Obama, whose mother had sent
the boy to live with his grandparents in Hawaii. Obama's grandfather, Stanley
    Armour Dunham, arranged
for Davis to become the boy's mentor and advisor.
    From approximately 1971-79,
    Davis had considerable
influence on the young Obama, particularly during the last four of those
    years.
(Notably, Davis once sat on a union-publicity committee with Chicago
Sun-Times reporter Vernon Jarrett, father-in-law of Valerie Jarrett,
    the latter of whom
would later become a close confidante and advisor to President Barack
Obama). In the early Seventies, Davis sold marijuana and cocaine from a
hot-dog cart which he operated near his home in Waikiki.

In the media, or rather the blogosphere one of the most influential and widely read leftist sites is "Wonkette". Recently a new editor, Rebecca Schoenkopf took over the running of this radical site and a new, even further left tone followed shortly. Wonkette, to give an idea of the "standards" it runs by,  made itself notorious under its previous editor for its disastrous article attacking Sarah Palin's challenged son Trig whom it called a "retard". there was a massive outcry from decent people from all
walks of life and for a time the site lost nearly all its sponsors.

Schoenkopf   managed the difficult feat of standing at the very pinnacle of
the sites sexist, anti-conservative Blacks/women, filthy mouthed commentariat
    with her statement:

"The Poles believe this is a terrible slur against Poland.
Your Wonkette thinks it takes considerable chutzpah and/or balls to be more offended that Treblinka was
called “Polish” than that it existed. Your Editrix, as a Polish-Russian Jew, thinks Poland can go fuck itself."

Presumably "Poland" would include the Polish airmen who fought the Nazi's as courageous
RAF pilots, to whom there is a monument on The Embankment in London. Nobel Prize winner Lech Walesa, and the Polish people who endured decades of Communist repression and who died in two revolts against Communist tyranny. Not forgetting of course the tens of thousands of   the elite of the country who were massacred, by the Communists at Katyn. The estimated 3,000,00 Poles who saved 450,000 Jews from the Nazi Death camps are presumably also included in Schoenkopf's exhortation.

From where might this frame of mind come? Is Schoenkopf another "Red diaper baby'? Here is an excerpt (emphasis mine) from a blog called "Commie Mom"

"have settled on telling you a little bit about how we, Rebecca and I, came to be Commie Girl and Commie Mom.
So. How did all that Commie business start, you ask?
It began when Commie Girl was in high school. By then I had dragged all my children, from early childhood on, to innumerable marches like the United Farm Workers’ marches for workers’ rights with Cesar Chavez himself leading us, demonstrations against war and for peace in places like Nevada, political meetings of the anti-nuke variety which led us to people like Edward Markey, (do NOT say, “Who?”) Democratic candidacies of folks like Jerry Brown and Phil Angelides (don’t you dare say “Who?”), knocking on doors and standing on street corners, and all manner of what-have-yous, all in the Lefty vein. (Actually I didn’t drag my children. They went happily. Mostly. Because Lefty stuff is FUN!!)
So, because I was a big Lefty and all, involved in anti-nukes, anti-war, Mother Earth, the United Farm Workers and all labor unions including my own United Teachers of Los Angeles, and every election that came down the pike, Becca’s friends began to call me Commie Mom.  Back then, the rightwingers of the Reagan era called everyone who was left of center a commie.  Or a commie pinko.
Well, it turned out I actually WAS a commie. In the communicating, communion, community, communal, commonweal, common folks, “workers should own the means of production” sense of the word.  I have always thought Karl Marx was right about corporations and capitalism and all its bone-grinding horror.

And here is Schoenkopf's Twitter picture-the very image of a hard boiled "socialist" in the Rosa Luxemburg stamp

And a statement from her own autobiography at "Commie Girl Collective" AT THIS LINK where she makes this comment:

"Are you really a Communist? No. I am a socialist."

Well we will all just have to take her word for it won't we? What we do know is that Schoenkopf, as recently as July 19th, ran this article decrying what she terms as
"Reds under the beds' which is exactly the sort of Alinskyite response to anyone bringing attention to possible Communist influences-like my post, as I am sure will be the case.

Caroline Glick, writing in The Jerusalem Post issued a stern warning about the influence of radical Jewish socialists in America in her article "Defeating The Jewish Alinskyites." Unfortunately for Schoenkopf, both Glick and I are card carrying Jews so she will have to mount some other line of attack.

I posted an article, "Palin Is The Media Liberal Jew's Mistaken Golem And Primal Scream Therapy"  on why the Jews are, in the main, leftists, and if they can be weaned from "tales learned at grandad's knee." Michael Walzer at the Jewish focussed magazine 'The Tablet" in his article "The End Of The Jewish Left" seems to think so, but I am not so sanguine. As long as people of influence like Schoenkopf   et al pump out their radical leftism into calcified older minds, and underdeveloped young minds, the battle will be challenging.
