Orriel Smith's voice is one of the wonders of the age. Her 1960's folk Lp "A Voice In The Wind" from which the above track was taken is emotion mixed with operatic control. Someone has taken a track and added a nostalgic look at the 1960's California surf scene and protest scene-all very nostalgic.
Orriel is still recording and produced a new folk CD harkening back to her frst called "A Voice Forever In The Wind". Check it out LINK and enjoy both albums-her version of the Maori folk song "Pokarekare" has received over 16,000 listens alone.
