Heads Of 21 Egyptians Christian Martyrs Metaphorically In The Beds Of The Leftist Media
by M. Joseph Sheppard
It is nearly impossible to write about such horrors, certainly not the details, so I will simply present the headline, and one sentence;”The 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians, who had gone to Libya in search of work, were marched to a beach, forced to kneel and then beheaded on video, which was broadcast via a website that supports Islamic State.”
Clearly there is a madness set loose upon the world with manifestations such as this Libyan incident, and others e.g. Denmark and France and who knows what other horrors will have happened in the brief period from the writing of this post to its publication? Condemnation of the perpetrators, and canvassing possibly remedies, is certainly justified and vital but it is also important to look to the roots of this entire tragic situation and ascribe the blame where it properly lies so that it can’t happen again-at least in the same manner and impetus.
Let it be quite clearly stated. Both President George H.W. Bush And George W. Bush were entirely correct in their foreign policy responses to Iraq and to post 9/11. Yes, obviously, mistakes were made in carrying out the responses-sometimes tragic, some times stupid (Abu Ghraib) sometimes simply misguided. It can also be fairly canvassed that the described actions of G.W. Bush against Saddam Hussein were commenced on false or misleading information. But the destruction of an abhorrent regime and the basis for stability in the region was put in place.
Why did that stability not eventuate-why do we have a situation in the Mideast where chaos, death and destruction is a fact of daily life and daily deaths? It is because the Obama administration has chosen a path which has allowed all these things to come to pass. We can canvass the roots of this chaos from his “Arab Spring” initiative, the overthrow of the Egyptian government and the ensuing chaos. The eventual return of the Taliban in Afghanistan is in sight after the spilling of so much blood and treasure, Libya is a near defunct state, Yemen is in chaos as is Syria, and Iraq is the scene of a daily death toll which hardly gets a mention in the American media.
All these things are the result of six years of poor judgment-or worse. What is the eventual outcome of the Iranian atomic energy situation may be the final end of any “legacy” creation” for then ex-President Obama who will be contemplating his presidential library whilst Israel, the relationship with which is at a nadir not seen before, may be contemplating another Holocaust. Yes it is incontrovertible that all these things are in the Obama administration’s balance sheet but, taking this one step further, does the ultimate blame for this terrible list of chaos, death and destruction lie with the administration or with those who made the administration possible in the first place? “Libyan ambassador: International pullout after fall of Qaddafi allowed ISIS to ‘get strong'”
It is with the latter-absolutely and to their life long shame. Then Senator Obama was carried into the White House on the backs of a complicit leftist “progressive” media who made, by that action, all the subsequent ethnic and religious horrors possible. That so many are Jewish is a sad fact, as is the fact that the final act of this, at best, misguided activity, might be the destruction of Israel. That the thought of that might not give these non-religious Jews no pause is also misguided as bombs don’t differentiate between the religious and non-religious when considering ethnicity as Hitler’s regime proved.
Whatever their religion or ethnicity the “JournOlist” conspiracy politically destroyed, one after Hillary Clinton, John McCain and Sarah Palin in pursuit of their agenda which was, at bottom, electing an “anti-war” candidate. Whatever Clinton’s failings I find it hard to imagine that she would not have pursued a stronger and vigilant follow up to the Iraq war gains than Obama.
McCain made it clear that his administration would stay in Iraq for as long as it took to bring stability-which fact Governor Palin strongly reinforced in her Vice-presidential nomination acceptance speech. Palin’s prescience in warning of the dangers of an Obama administration losing all “when victory in Iraq is in site” was remarkably clear sighted (as was of course her later statement that “If Obama is elected Putin will invade the Ukraine). An enraged, and frightened at the prospect of this Alaskan upstart coming from nowhere and destroying Obama then proceeded to throw every bit of dirt and lie towards her they could.
It is clear that the enabling press and the “progressive” Blogs and bloggers like Kos Moulitsas’s “Daily Kos” Andrew Sullivan, Teagan Goddard and the entire leftist blogosphere allied with Hollywood (SNL of course) created the atmosphere, fortuitously aligned with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, which made the election of Senator Obama possible. It is on their heads the blood of the Egyptian Christian Martyrs should be smeared as their mark of Cain. It is in their beds the heads of these murdered victims should be metaphorically placed.
Franklin Graham:
“The militant Islamic terrorist group ISIS has released a video called A MESSAGE SIGNED WITH BLOOD TO THE NATION OF THE CROSS showing the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians who had been kidnapped in Libya. Can you imagine the outcry if 21 Muslims had been beheaded by Christians? Where is the universal condemnation by Muslim leaders around the world? As we mourn with the families of those 21 martyrs, we’d better take this warning seriously as these acts of terror will only spread throughout Europe and the United States. If this concerns you like it does me, share this. The storm is coming.”
As the 2016 presidential election looms to allow these same people who have thrown away, at the costs of tens of thousands of lives, to dictate not only who the Democrat candidate should be but the Republican (whom they would then tear down) would be a gross act of negligence on the part of conservatives. The next Republican candidate, and administration should have the defense of America (which includes immigration watchfulness and vigilance), which includes the destruction of her enemies and the support to her friends-especially Israel, as the most significant priority, all else is economic market forces-and social
