Or Graham President/Bush VP-works either way. All they need is a name for the new party, perhaps "The Corrupt Bastards Club"?
Let them run in a new third party against Trump to the same effect that Anderson had against Reagan in 1980-i.e. none;
"John Anderson, after being defeated in the Republican primaries, entered the general election as an independent candidate, campaigning as a moderate Republican alternative to Reagan.. However, his campaign appealed primarily to frustrated anti-Carter voters. His support progressively evaporated through the campaign season as his supporters were pulled away by Carter and Reagan. "
Trump, Donald John, Sr. | 10,717,357 40.21% |
Graham, Lindsey Olin | 5,663 0.02% |
Bush, John Ellis "Jeb" | 276,915 1.04% |
There is no place in the new Republican party for liars like Bush who categorically stated he would support Trump as the nominee "I would of course support Donald Trump, we need to be unified", not utter hypocrites like Graham who called Cruz every name under the sun and then turned around and endorsed him.
Bill Kristol states "Neither Trump nor Hillary." In Bush and Graham he will have found the perfect candidates to have an alternative to vote for.
Let him and they and all the rats leave the sinking ship that is the establishment D.C. Beltway, David Brooksian country club elite effete party and take it to the dustbin of history where he and they belong.
If Paul Ryan can't bring himself to support the nominee let him join Jeb's sinking ship and meet the same fate as Eric Cantor-likewise Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner.
To quote Cromwell, like Trump another destroyer of a corrupt establishment;
"Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"
