Breaking: Palin Confirms To CBS Phoenix No Arizona Senate Run

After a flight from Philadelphia with her youngest daughter, Piper, CBS 5 News had to ask former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin what are her intentions in our state. Is that new $1.7 million home in Scottsdale really just a vacation home or a platform for something bigger, like perhaps our upcoming open Senate seat?
"That is not what my plan is here, no. I have not really considered that at all, but thanks for asking. You have great senators here though," said Palin.
CBS 5 News tried to ask about a possible presidential bid, but Palin did not answer that question. However, she did tell us what she wanted to use that new home for.
"We are very glad to be able to invest in some property here, not full time residents, but it is nice to come thaw out here. It is wonderful," said Palin.
The house will give the Palin family plenty of room for that with 8,000-square-feet and everything from six bedrooms, to a pool and even a wine cellar. According to Palin it will also be a get away spot as she continues her "One Nation" bus tour.
"It is nice to take a break here and kind of regroup and get back out on the trail and show people America's great historical sites," said Palin.
