Last week at a New Hampshire clambake, according to an article in The Australian, Gov. Palin reportedly told Times of London correspondent Christina Lamb that she plans to travel to Sudan and possibly The UK next month.

Lamb was asking that familiar question -- when does the potential 2012 presidential candidate think she may decide whether to enter the race -- when the governor rather matter-of-factly disclosed her intentions to make another trip abroad:
Asked by The Sunday Times when she would decide, Palin replied: "Some weeks".If she's going to Sudan, there's a good chance that it will be as part of a Samaritan's Purse mercy mission. Gov. Palin has worked with Rev. Franklin Graham's charitable organization several times in the past, including a visit in December to Haiti. Samaritan's purse has anoperation in South Sudan.
She may first seek advice from another unconventional female politician, Margaret Thatcher. "I am going to Sudan in July and hope to stop in England on the way," she said. "I am just hoping Mrs Thatcher is well enough to see me as I so admire her."
There has also been much speculation in months past about a possible Palin visit to Britain, but this is the first time the governor has mentioned it recently.
