In a follow up article subsequent to my post yesterday
(at this link) which exposed a Palin hater's call for Sarah to be "Offed" the "SARAH PALIN BLOG" (at this link) has done some remarkable detective work and further exposed the mindset behind the Palin hate.
These matters are very serious-remember a father and son duo were arrested for threatening Palin's life-and any call for her to be attacked might set off a deranged hater.
Congratulations to The Sarah Palin Blog and hopefully the authorities will take notice and take action.

offed - Verb: Kill; murder.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, here's about five thousand words for you to take a look at and then slowly let them sink in.
I suppose @mariah_reloaded thinks that it's very cool to post a tweet inciting violence against Sarah Palin. After all, if the left did not have Sarah Palin to bash and threaten, whatever would they do with their time? Soon after posting that tweet, @mariah_reloaded starts having second thoughts upon realizing that blogger Michael Sheppard has captured the above tweet and written a story about it here. @mariah_reloaded begins to rationalize her use of the word "offed" by tweeting "like I didn't say I'd do it". Apparently @mariah_unloaded does not understand the meaning of "inciting violence". The inciter (in this case, @mariah_reloaded) is the one who tweets the suggestion of "offing Palin" thus she seeks to influence the mind of another to commit a crime.
Further conversation with Twitter friends brings @mariah_reloaded to determine that she should probably delete her account.
And delete the account she does! @mariah_reloaded changes the name on her account and locks it down so that her tweets are no longer public.

Is this an example of the "civil discourse" that President Obama has suggested? Is this where we are as a nation and is this the path we really want to take? Is this a "content of character" moment? At a point in my life where I thought I would have more answers than questions, sadly the questions I still have outnumber the answers.
